Another Lost Blog?

Yes, I'm going to do it...just like everyone else did all over the web. The difference is that I don't have any answers to theories. I just know what I saw on my computer. Let me explain.

I haven't had cable television for about a year now. I can't afford it anymore. I watch everything I want to watch on my computer for free. Yes, I'm a cheapskate.

I didn't watch Lost when it first aired. My mother had been watching it and would tell me a little about it, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Then I asked to borrow her DVDs. She had seasons 1 thru 4 and I watched every episode. I was interested from the point that this was no ordinary island and they were there for a purpose, but they would have to figure that out for themselves. Then I watched an interview with the guys that created this mystery and they said they always knew that at some point this would have to end. They said they had been planning an ending from the beginning. Not sure if I believe them at this point. Then I watched season 5. More and more people died and things didn't seem to be going so well. Here's what I mean.

From the beginning these people wanted off the island. When 6 of them finally did make it off the island their lives were not so great. Each had a different reason for going back. Kate went back to get Claire, Ben went back to see if he could run the island, Jack wasn't sure but knew he was needed on the island, Hurley did what everyone else wanted to do, Sayid went back without choice, and Locke was the dead body they needed. Sun went back to look for Jin. They needed to create the same conditions because technically they were not invited. Of course all of us watching are thinking why do you want to go back to a place you so desperately wanted to leave? The island wasn't done with them yet, as Ben kept saying over and over.

So what's done is done and there are no do-overs. We come to the finale event. I think that most who watched wanted things to end in a way that made sense to them. I just wanted to see what they chose and how they would end everything so it couldn't come back and still keep some people alive. They found a way. From the beginning of season 6 we saw what we thought was an alternate reality. The reality if the flight had not crashed. Then Richard started ranting in one episode that they were all dead and this is hell. I didn't believe what Richard was saying because he had visited John Locke when John was a small boy to test him. And Richard was just angry because Jacob was dead and he felt he no longer had a purpose. I had a hard time accepting the alternate reality. No one seemed like themself and since when did Jack have a son. Even if the plane had never crashed, what are the odds that Jack would have a child with Juliet before the flight? These things did not make sense. and then it was all explained in the final event.

The alternate reality is these people in purgatory waiting to find each other and remember before moving on. That's why everyone was so happy when they did actually remember their lives and everything that had happened to them. It is believed that a soul is in purgatory because they can't move on. Who knew that all these people needed was to remember every experience they had on the island in order to let go and move on. I liked that the writers left some things unanswered and chose to end everything by showing that everyone is dead now. No one can ever bring this back to life again. No one is lost anymore.

I was surprised that Jack died, but they needed a hero and he had to die to be the hero. I was surprised to see that Hurley would be taking over and Ben would be like Richard. I didn't think Hurley was mature enough. I liked that Desmond was the key to everything all along. Just like he was inside the hatch. Where it all began.

Housewives are not Classy

I watch the Bravo TV series The real Housewives Of...whatever city they are doing. Right now NYC and New Jersey are running on Mondays and Thursdays. I love the shows. The reason is that these women are the most low class people I have ever seen on television. They all have money and claim to be classy and better than everyone else and none of them live up to that claim.

Let's look at NYC. Ramona and her husband own their own businesses and do well for themselves financially. Ramona has diarrhea of the mouth. She always says the wrong thing at the wrong time. But she is consistent. She is smart and driven. Ramona does not take crap from anyone. But she's a wealthy socially inept loser.

Bethany is pregnant and recently married. She has daddy issues which translates into....I have issues with men. But she did manage to find someone and get pregnant first then married. Bethany likes drama and pushes peoples buttons and when it backfires she acts as if she did nothing wrong. She always has a snide comment for someone. What a snob! Supposedly she is a 'celebrity chef' in NYC. And now that she has been on this show she has branded herself. She has several books, DVDs and the Skinny Girl Margarita. WTF? This bitch needs to grow up and start thinking about the right way to raise a family. Get over yourself!!!!!

Jill Zarin is the worst. She was a nobody that married a wealthy Jew in NYC. She doesn't work and does nothing but try to promote herself daily and behave badly toward others. If you don't do as Jill wants you to do than you are dead to her as far as friendship is concerned. The only real friend Jill has is her ego. None of the people she is around in that city really care, they just want to be on TV. Ramona was right about one thing regarding Jill Zarin.....if you are the underdog then Jill takes you under her wing because it makes her look good to others watching. Bethanny has a new husband and baby. Jill couldn't handle any of this so she picked a fight with Bethanny and cut her off as a 'friend'. Then Luanne got a divorce and guess who is right by her side. Yes, its Jill Zarin. She has found a new underdog. But the two of them together are ruthless toward all the other housewives. Bitches!

The only thing I can say about Kelley.....STUPID CUNT!

Luanne is not a countess anymore. She is divorced from a count in name only. This guy used her to get kids so he would fullfill his obligation for an heir and then dropped her like a hot potato for a younger woman. She claims that you are either born with class or not. She was not born with class....she's a fake. She's sleeping her way around NYC and gossiping about everyone. She's a low class busy body that can't keep up with the younger crowd. Move on you old Hag!!!

Now to Alex. I actually like Alex. She's intelligent, educated, and is a working mom just trying to make her way through all the bullshit in NYC. People have questioned her parenting skills, but she hasn't really done anything wrong. She struggles with her kids like everyone else. Yes, she and her husband have money and they have flaunted it, but at no time has she ever claimed to be better than anyone else. She is who she is and makes no excuses. Rock on Alex. And move away from these trifeling bitches!!!!

So that's NYC in a nutshell. I will write some on New Jersey at a later time.

I'm A WalMart Hater!!!!!

I hate Walmart! There I said it. They don't carry some of the items I like to use and they are just another corporate bully that has got everyone by the balls. Not so long ago I actually walked out of wlamart after letting my cart sit that had a few items in it. I was so disgusted with them for not having instock items I wanted and discontinuing items I need. So I went to the grocery store next to them and bought everything I needed at higher prices. It was actually worth it as I was much happier and satisfied with my shopping experience. I only buy one item at walmart now....its their strawberry-orange-bannana sugar free drink mix. I buy everything else somewhere else.

Walmart mistreats their employees....there is a class action lawsuit against them for discrimination of female employees. They have had numerous problems with employees and customers being mistreated or killed! Walmart and Barack Obama are the downfall of this country AND why we are having trouble recovering from a recession. I wish I had more options to choose from for shopping in my area.

I don't know if anyone will ever have the balls to go toe to toe with walmart and bring them to their knees. I can only hope there is someone out there to go national and kick their ass!!!!!

I'm Lost With Lost

When the show Lost first started airing I did not watch the show. At the time, Survivor was at its peak of popularity and I did not want to watch another show about people stranded on an island. But my mom watched the show religiously which I found odd. One night there was nothing to watch so I watched one episode and had so many questions. My mother began explaining things and I quickly realized that this show is more science fiction than anything else. That is why my mother liked it so much. She's a big fan of sci-fy. For whatever reason I borrowed her DVDs of seasons 1 thru 4 and watched everything from the beginning. I was hooked and confused. Then I watched season 5 and was still lost. I've been watching season six every week and come to the conclusion that the show is also about good and bad. Not God and the Devil but just good and bad. Its about making things right in your own life. Its probably one of the most interesting shows that has come to television in a very long time. And now it will come to an end. Of course Flashforward is definitely trying to take the place of Lost. I think it can compete. Its got a science fiction theme and a good story line with some good characters. Gone are the days of The Cosby Show, Roseanne, and Seinfeld. NBC's must see TV sucks!
